Welcome to the new home of Raft, Inc., an emerging nonprofit public benefit organization located in Inglewood, California since 2004. Raft's focus is to address the need of a "living wage" for its service population of low-income single parents and emancipated youth in our community. We offer informational resources, vocational training and supportive services with tools to achieve sustainability and to qualify for housing.

Raft stands as a global model for community-based nonprofits in the 21st Century, operating the Legal Support Institute, a multi-dimensional program which provides a community-based presence and participation of legal professionals as role models, teaching and sharing their professional experiences in the industry. Raft is marketing LSI graduates as the source of qualified candidates for entry-level legal support staff employment. This is our market niche, which is not being serviced in this region. Raft's vision is to sustain families, identify solutions and to promote strategies for empowering the underserved in our community.
