The ability to use a computer is essential in today's work environment. E-mail, job applications, time clocks, training, and more are everyday job tasks conducted on a computer, and can be daunting to those who have limited opportunity to use one. LSI provides this component to train each student on computer keyboarding techniques, word processing skills (MS Word), digital file management, document retrieval and researching on the Internet. Students not only learn what's required to survive in the workplace, but how to build a better life for themselves and their families.
